Cancer is a deadly sin, today you hear so many people being diagnosed with cancer. What can we do, is there a cure? We need to really search for information and ways to destroy this demon. I want to share something with you about my personal experience. One of my family members was diagnosed with cancer, I believe she new long before she shared with the family. It was very hard on her family because, she was such a vibrant woman. She loved life and enjoyed being around people and making life one of her happiest moments. She enjoyed traveling, she was just a happy person all in all.

After finding out about the cancer, she was due to be married that year and there was nothing else that could go wrong. Things just seemed to be going haywire, no one knew what the outcome was going to be. Her fiancee loved her dearly and still wanted to marry her even though we could not predict the future for them. They continued as planned and the wedding went off as they both wanted. She was a beautiful bride, they really had a special setting given the short time in which they arranged this wonderful event. Soon after, she began to experience some major problems. As you know the Big C can come and go in our life. Well for a while she was fine, and then it began to take her spiraling downhill. It was devastating to see such a young beautiful woman suffer through this fatal dilemma. All we could do was pray for her and her husband, shortly thereafter she reached her final days. She was able to ask for specific requests that she wanted to be carried out, in the event of her death. She was laid to rest, leaving behind her loving husband and family.

Cancer is an ultimately devastating disease, we have to learn and try even more to live a healthy life, eat good and nourishing foods and watch our weight. No one knows if and when this deadly disease can strike, but I believe if we put forth the effort to exercise, eat right to the best of our ability then our chances of getting this disease will be much slimmer.

Share your views, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks, Marie
